Engineer graduated from the University of Costa Rica. He obtained a master's degree in Automation and Robotics from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a doctorate in Industrial Informatics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Dr. Rojas works in the modeling, simulation and control of dynamic systems, his areas of interest are process control, optimal control, industrial automation and the application of control and modeling in areas related to renewable energy sources and applications to biosystems. He is an associate professor, consultant for public entities in Costa Rica, is an active researcher and has international scientific publications on topics such as control of hydrogen-based generation systems and control of water treatment plants.
